the eternal question, who are we?
Lucid Surf was established in 2001 on the beach (literally) in Manly, Australia. No, we don't specialise in surfing websites, our name relates to lucid (clear, clarity) and surfing (of the internet). Although we're not averse to catching the occasional wave when conditions permit.
The lucid founder is Bradley Hook. South African by birth, he went overseas at the age of 19 and never quite returned. Now a proud Australian citizen, he delights in making websites that are unique, engaging and require a lot of conceptual thought. When not interacting with the web himself Brad also writes for a number of business and leisure magazines. To conform to the design agency protocol of revealing some quirky character traits: Brad likes coffee, surfing at sunset, the Thriller dance and writing horror stories.
The rest of the lucid team consists of a number of skilled designers, UI experts, security gurus and programmers. And then we have our invaluable army in India who are incredibly nerdy and call us "Sir". You gotta love that.
We don't take life too seriously as we realise how fortunate we are to have been given this time. We do realise that in order to fulfill our dreams we need money and are therefore willing to use our skills to help our selected clients (maybe even you) to fulfill theirs.
